Keemun Mao Feng
A refined Chinese black tea with a soft floral aroma, featuring delicate lily notes, complemented by hints of honey, cocoa, and ripe fruit.
Keemun tea originated around 150 years ago and quickly gained popularity in Europe. It remains one of the classic components in high-quality Earl Grey and English Breakfast blends.
While English Breakfast is typically made from Indian, Ceylon, or Kenyan teas, premium versions often include Keemun for its smooth, balanced character. Likewise, authentic Earl Grey uses Keemun as its base, enhanced with natural bergamot oil — though more common versions rely on cheaper teas and artificial flavouring.
There are several Keemun types, each with unique processing nuances. This one is Keemun Mao Feng, known for its floral elegance and gentle sweetness.
A charming, beautifully balanced tea at an incredibly fair price for this level of quality.

Brewing recommendations :
This tea tastes best when prepared in the Western style. We recommend using just under 1 gram of tea per 100 ml of water (about 2.5 grams for 300 ml), with a steeping time of 3 minutes.
If you prefer to brew it Gong Fu style, use 4 grams of tea per 100 ml of water, with the first infusions lasting only 10 seconds.
