Lichuanhong
A rich and silky black tea with distinctive floral notes of rose, lilac, and a soft touch of cocoa. Deeply aromatic and beautifully balanced.
Lichuanhong black tea has been known for over a century, with strict quality standards defining what earns the name. This is a certified high-grade Lichuanhong, crafted exclusively from the tender spring buds — the very first leaves of the season.
What makes this tea unique is the cultivar: Qilan, usually reserved for oolong teas. It brings an unexpected floral intensity, enhancing the tea’s natural elegance with fragrant rose and lilac undertones.
These tiny buds carry great strength. When brewed strong, the tea can develop a touch of bitterness — so I recommend using fewer leaves and shortening the steeping time for a smoother, more refined cup.
