Yunnan Golden Needle
An exquisite and harmonious black tea with notes of malt, cocoa, and berry jam, perfectly balanced by the sweetness of caramelized sugar. Elegant and full-bodied, it is a tea that will not disappoint even the most discerning connoisseurs.
Yunnan black tea is celebrated for its malty richness, cocoa undertones, and hints of toasted sugar. Compared to other Chinese black teas, it offers a bolder character and is distinguished by its large golden buds. It comes in many grades and price ranges, and in China it is known as Dian Hong (“Yunnan Red”).
Yunnan Golden Needle is crafted from tender buds and the very first young leaf. It is a tea that deepens and grows more complex with time. Already, it reveals a smooth and perfectly balanced character that is sure to impress even seasoned tea experts.

Tea preparation recommendations:
This tea is very strong, so a small pinch is enough. It also tastes excellent with milk.
For Western-style brewing, I recommend using 2 g of tea per 300 ml of water and steeping for about 3 minutes.
For Gong Fu-style brewing, use 4 g of tea per 100 ml of water, letting the first infusions steep for only a few seconds.
