Mengding Mao Feng 2025
A gentle green tea with subtle notes of sweet chestnut, the aroma of freshly cut grass, and a soft floral nectar sweetness.
Named after its origin, Mengding Mountain in Sichuan, this tea comes from one of China’s oldest tea-growing regions. The area's misty, rain-rich climate and pristine environment create ideal conditions for producing early spring teas of exceptional quality.
Mengding Mao Feng is hand-picked in the early spring, selecting a bud and the first two tender leaves. The picking is done entirely by hand, while the leaf is rolled into shape and dried with machines. The result is an economical early spring green tea that is popular among frequent tea drinkers as a good quality “every-day” tea.

Brewing Tips:
Since the leaves of this tea are tightly rolled, it’s easy to accidentally use too much. If it looks like a generous pinch — put half of it back into the packet!
Water temperature is also important: if it’s hotter than 80°C, the tea may develop a slight bitterness, similar to lemon peel. Brew gently, and you’ll unlock the tea’s soft sweetness and floral notes — just as intended.
